Is essential oil just one scent? Can you wear it?

This is what I wear: http://www.sagejewelry.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=CTGY2&Store_Code=S&Offset=&Category_Code=1OR&SortBy=showall

The Onyx is especially delicious. This is pretty much the only brand I wear. They have samples for $3.25 http://www.sagejewelry.com/mm5/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD&Store_Code=S&Product_Code=Pearl_Sample&Category_Code=

Would this be considered essential oil?

Actually, I'm looking for essential oils to use for cleaning, natural healthcare, and aromatherapy.

For instance, tea tree oil is a natural anti-bacterial and I add it to my wash instead of bleach. I've also used it for minor skin problems.

Some essential oils, like peppermint, are great for stomach ailments, colds, etc.

The problem is, some companies sell oils that are not truly pure---they have additives or have been adulterated in some way.
