Carpe Diem
Where is the best place to purchase Saxon? After 7/6 we would buy the 8/7 correct? Are there two versions of 8/7? Thanks Christine
JudoMom
In the latest editions, it's recommended to do 7/6 and then 8/7. We used the 4th edition of 7/6 and are now using the 3rd edition of 8/7 (these are both the softcover homeschool texts). I've always bought Saxon at Rainbow Resource. In the earlier editions, it's recommended to do 7/6 and then Algebra 1/2.
1Togo
We have old editions, but we don't skip books. As mentioned, you can purchase Saxon from RR, but you can also buy it from CBD. The new editions have lesson reference numbers beside the review problems.
Chris in VA
WTM boards or Homeschool Classified! I'm all about buying used! :D (Sometimes I buy new if there's a workbook; for Saxon, I usually end up buying the tests new. And, you have to watch the editions.)
