kalphs
Has anyone started a parent's group based on SWB, "The Well Educated Mind?" This idea was recently proposed to me by a member of the parent's home education group I facilitate. Thank you! :)
Rosie_0801
Not that I'm aware of. People post various things on the board here at times, and on the "book a week challenge" threads, but most people are working at different paces or on different books. To make a group work properly, you'd need people reading the same thing at the same time, wouldn't you? Rosie
C_l_e_0..Q_c
There was a forum much like this one, when the book was first published. It was barely used.
dani3boys
Sonlight has a forum called Bibliovores, and there are a group of ladies there reading through WEM. I believe they're on the Communist Manifesto. However, it's about $35/year to join the form (free if you've bought >$150 from Sonlight in a given year). Ooh! I just bought a microscope from Sonlight, so I could check out their forum. I didn't think there would be any reason to look at their forums since I don't use their curriculum.
