Pam B
We're moving to the Greeneville area in TN. Not sure which town, just one within driving distance to Walters state collage. Does anyone know a site or something I can research? I know how to do a town search of crime, etc. But for an AREA.... The place we have now, we came here at night and everything was fine. However, after we moved here, of course it wasn't like that. It's a neighborhood I hate. Any thoughts? We really plan on staying for a long time. It's harder because we want acres- so we probably won't be living in a neighborhood. That's what I mean by "area".
Mabelen
For just information on a certain area: http://www.city-data.com/ If you have specific questions, you use the forum: http://www.city-data.com/forum/ I used these when we relocated last year and I found them very useful. Catwoman
Have you checked out City-data.com? You can find info on just about any town in the country there. They also have very active forums where you can ask questions and receive quick answers. You can also find all sorts of useful info at BestPlaces.net -- health, climate, crime statistics, population breakdowns, etc. Good luck with your move! I hope there are lots of people here who can give you info from a homeschooling perspective. Cat
