Jeannie in NJ
dh just bought me a Keurig and I wanted to order some k-cups. I am interested in the flavored coffees such as Irish Cream, Butter toffee, hazelnut, french vanilla, etc. I would not use any flavored creamers in them, just some half and half and no added sugar. I am pre-diabetic so I need to make sure that the flavored coffees do not have sugar in them.
Catwoman
I know that some of the k-cups have sugar or artificial sweeteners in them. I think you have to check the individual boxes for the ingredient lists. I know for sure that all of the hot chocolates and hot cocoas I've used have had added sugar. I think the Green Mountain brand might be an artificial sweetener, though, because it seemed to have an aftertaste. (I got it as a free sample, so I don't know for sure what was in it.) The hot apple cider has a lot of sugar in it, too. Cat
2cents
The coffee and hot tea k-cups don't have sugar but the hot chocolate and the iced tea k-cups do have added sugar.
Dobela
My brother uses a Keurig and bought one of those reusable k-cups instead of the specialty coffees. It said it was cheaper and easier to control ingredients.
