TXMary2
I have been wondering the same thing......as far as I can tell, the board seems to be the only difference. I'd like to know for sure though before spending $15 on Bananagrams.

MelanieM
Scrabble involves taking turns and playing from a combined word pool. With Banagrams you create your own words and build on your own individual word grid. You can read the Banagrams instructions here to compare: http://www.bananagrams-intl.com/instructions.asp
Woodland_Mom
I've never played bananagrams, but it sounds fun. It reminds me of a game you can play with your scrabble tiles called "speed scrabble". For anyone interested, ere are the instructions: http://www.ehow.com/how_2194275_play-speed-scrabble.html
