KidsHappen
I was wondering what the heck was going on. All I noticed was that a lot of people had changed there avatars to cartoon figures. ETA: I would probably be Velma. lisamarie
And now this lovely addition is being circulated on my FB page. READCAREFULLY!!!!The group asking everyone to change their profile to theirfavorite cartoon characters is actually a group of peadophiles. Their doing it because kids will accept their friend requests faster if they see a cartoon picture. It has nothing to do with supporting against child abuse. It ...was on that show that warns you about internet frauds plus tonights news PLEASE PASS THIS ON TO YOUR FRIENDS...

If a child is allowed on Facebook, then wouldn't a parent be monitoring friend requests anyhow? I fail to see how one can judge much based on avatars. I think people just post things to stir the pot.
Brilliant
I am glad I am raising my children better than to call people stupid over something so innocuous. I'm glad I did, too. My teen asked, thinking critically, "Why should I do this? How could it help child abuse victims?"

It does not always happen. But I do agree that it's a pot stirring forward.
