Any other supplies I should order for Apologia General Science?

I am going to be making an order from Home Science Tools for Apologia General Science supplies. I was given the book, so I have that already. I know they have a kit. But, is there anything you wish your student had for the book?

Twine/string. We needed it today, and I didn't have any, so we had to use thread (the alternative would have been to wait until dh got off work and could bring us some, or for me to run to Walmart). Yarn doesn't count because it's too stretchy!

We've been pleased with the kit for Apologia GS. It is nice not to have to go look for twine or alum.

 

I ordered the test set (maybe $4 from RR). It has been nice to just pull the test out of the booklet and hand it to my student. However, be aware that the quarterly tests are not in the booklet, so you will be copying those from the Solutions Guide.

Along with the text, do you also have the Study Guide/Test solutions book? That is a must!

I have the tests and such, as well. Not planning on using them though. Just reading, narrations, and experiments.
