I cry when I hear this song. It was on the radio as I was driving home from my dying MIL's bedside in the middle of a snowstorm. The song isn't particularly great, but I always associate it with the last time I saw her and that she was getting ready to see Jesus.

:iagree: My hubby is blown away that so many of us hate it. I've always really strongly disliked this song even the first time I heard it. Too cheesy. Trying too hard to force an emotion out of it's listeners. Just be real, not over dramatic.

Well, see, the other issue is, now that radio stations play Christmas music 24 hours a day from the weekend before Thanksgiving until Dec. 25, songs that wouldn't really have bothered you before are now magnified until it becomes hatred! I never knew there was so much bad Christmas music until they started doing this!
