Holly in FL
Okay! Every time I hit "New Posts"...it shows me posts from ALL the forums, not just the currant board I am viewing. Am I doing something wrong? Or, is that just what the feature does? Thanks! ~Holly

Snickerdoodle
If you only want to see threads from a particular forum, click on that forum. All threads with new posts since your last visit should be a darker blue.

MommyX8
Don't click on the first hyperlink. That brings you to the main boards. The next one brings you to the sub-board and the last one is the thread.

Basketmaker Amy
You might want to type your message in the "message" section, rather than the title section. Then you won't have to add askljfkldjfkjdsl stuff! So much to learn, so little time! There are lots of cool features with the new forums! Holly in FL
I didn't have anything else to say. This board won't let you just write something in the title and leave 'nt' in the message area. I think it states the message needs to be at least 10 characters long. Hee, hee... Yup...still learning how to use this thing! ~Holly
Basketmaker Amy
I just leave the title section empty. :) I guess it's just personal preference. Have fun! Where in Florida are you?
Holly in FL
...in Tampa! I just checked out your weaving site and would LOVE to take a class!!! You might just find me in one of your classes!!! ~Holly
Sharon in SC
Ah, but HOlly and Amy, you guys are now hitting on my heartburn of last evening! :-P I have never been able to get away with just leaving the title line blank despite that fact that others have told me they can. Truly, what gives??! The only time I can get away with that is if I hit quick reply (as in this post). Except for that, my posts will not post until I put something in the title line. Please experiment with this and see if your experience differs....
Holly in FL
This is a test...but, I think if you leave the title blank...it will just use the first few words of your message as the title. Did it work? ~Holly
Basketmaker Amy
Holly, What a small world! I would love for you to take a class. The classes are fun and you go home with a "finished" basket...it really gives you a sense of accomplishment! Sharon---I just hit "Post Reply" and then type my message in the message part. I haven't tried starting a NEW post...maybe you have to put something in the title for that.
Sharon in SC
Well, let's see - I hit Post Reply with this message. let's see what happens.... (Now I'm using the really cool edit feature!!)...OK - I was able to only submit text to the message box with Post Reply. I guess maybe it's *new* thread posts that have to have a subject line?
