cathmom
DS7 and I have been playing addition war. We started with 1-5, and each day we add in the next higher cards (6,7,8,9, and then 10). He uses the abacus if he needs help. He adds mine and then his. So last time we were playing, I said, "You beat me by 2!" on one of them. I didn't plan to say it, it just slipped out. Then he started saying it every time! Today we added in the 9's. He continued to say the difference for every problem. I am so amazed! He only just turned 7 and we are about halfway through RS B. Tonia
Sounds like we're in the same place - about 1/2way through level B. LOVE the games - they are so great at reinforcing what dd is learning!
daughterofsarah77
We are not doing RS, but have been playing addition war here as well. I have seen a couple of light-bulb moments, and best of all...it is the only math we've done that hasn't resulted in a meltdown!!!!
