elegantlion
I haven't had that issue and I'm here everyday. Did you clear your history and your cookies?
Paige
Do you have an anti-spyware/malware program? It might pick up something the virus scan didn't. I haven't had any ads pop up. You could find them by googling spybot, adaware, or malwarebytes anti malware. I have the last one running right now but have used the others in the past. LBS
My geek tech nephews swear to me that by running Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware free edition and SUPERAnti-Spyware Free edition, regularly, with the protection my ISP offers for free, that I'll never lose another computer. I have never had a pop-up on WTM, ever, either. Download those two and use them, see if one of those does not clean it up. If you need a direct link, e-mail me. swimmermom3
You may be on to something about piggy-backing on WTM addresses. I have received emails from two different board members that weren't really from them. They were cc'd to three other board members in both cases. I don't open them but check properties. We've gone over everything with a security specialist. One of the board members had her computer completely cleaned, but I think WTM is source of the infection.
