Thanks for the heads up. I ordered three. Our younger kids are riding the olders' worn out hand me downs and I was going to replace them at Christmas. I guess I won't be doing different colors, but there's always Sharpie :)

So I suppose you have to have Amazon Prime for this deal? I clicked on your links. The 16.99 price showed as available, but not a one actually showed at that price. Make sense?

Thanks, my younger son needed one. I have the free month Prime shipping but I was going to cancel it in two weeks but this item doesn't ship for 3 weeks. Will there be a problem?

It looks like you don't need Prime in order to get the red scooter for 16 bucks. We don't have Prime and it went into our cart as eligible for Free Super Saver Shipping. I just clicked on the red color. Under the color selection is reads as "In Stock. Ships from and sold by Fogdog. See pricing and availability chart for details. 17 new from 16.99 1 used from 40.00" I clicked on the 17 new and the amazon price was listed first. Hope this helps in some way.

I thought I missed out on this. Thanks for the info bbsweatpea and Chrisb...I have been looking on craigslist for a good deal on one of these, but at this price I bought one for each of my boys for Christmas and I didn't have to settle for used!

We got an email from Amazon saying that the price was an error in their system causing an incorrect price. We ordered two, one for each of our twins. They will only fulfill the order for one at that price. Otherwise, we have to do a separate order in we want another (or more) scooter. Bummer!
