AlisonK
I don't know if you will find a group closer but this is the one I belong to and it isn't that far away. You will find some wonderful families to connect with here. Welcome to NJ...in 2011! http://homeschool-life.com/nj/hsn/
calandalsmom
There wass a wonderful christian co-op which meets monthly in the Princeton area. A little further south http://www.hishomeschoolcoop.webs.com/ http://www.lwhe.org/ http://www.homeschoolclassifieds.com/groups_activities.asp?nm=New%20Jersey&st=NJ That has good info- the homeschool swim lessons are wonderful at Burlington County College. Karenciavo
Living Waters, linked above, is a very good group (my family does not go, but friends do). There is also an ICC rostrum (my family goes) that meets in Mt. Laurel, if you're interested in public speaking, debate, and interpretation. KuniMom
I think there is a homeschool group right on base! There used to be a co-op, not sure if it's still running, but I know there is a group on base that gets together at least occasionally. Other than that, the closest ones are the ones calandalsmom listed. Living Waters seems to be more academic, HIS co-op more enrichment. Both of them are awesome! Puma Mom
There is a group that meets in the New Egypt library, maybe 15 minutes away. They have a Yahoo group: NewEgyptHomeschoolers.
