my 3rd grader is learning multiplication, but we need to stop and review skip counting, as she isn't getting it. any games, worksheets, tricks, ideas i can use to reinforce this? 3, 4's, 6's, 7's, 8's, 9's, and 12's are specifically what I want to cement in her. help!!

thanks,

susan

Jumping up and down while saying them.

Writing them in chalk on outside steps (or taping them to inside stairs) and walking/jumping etc up and down the stairs.

Labelling dolls or trucks or blocks with the numbers and then arranging them in order and counting them or build with them etc etc.

Like with blocks - tape the numbers to the blocks and then build and unbuild a tower - over and over and over :)

We used the Skip Count Kids Bible Heroes songs. I've used them with four kiddos and we love them. We no longer sing the lyrics...just the number choruses...but we do enjoy them. They also have a secular recording as well.
