I heard this interview on the White Horse Inn recently and thought others would appreciate it as well. It's with Kenda Creasy Dean about her most recent book titled Almost Christian: What the Faith of Our Teenagers is Telling the American Church. I found it very eye-opening and insightful as a parent.

We get the CDs every month and then I put them on my ipod, then pass the CDs around to my friends.

 

I'm excited about the upcoming series on the Parables.

I love listening to WHI on my ipod too. If you like them, you might also enjoy Issues Etc. They have Podcasts, so it makes it even easier to put on the ipod : )

Thanks for posting. Since I lost our iPod (:crying: - I think I threw it away by accident) I have not been good about listening to the WHI podcast. I'm listening right now. Very interesting discussion.

Well, as a Latter-day Saint, I know we get points in that book for having the strongest and most faithful youth among those surveyed. Not sure she considers us Christians (even though we are), but I did get a chuckle out of her title for Chapter 3.....Mormon Envy.

My husband is currently doing an adult Sunday school class on this book, and about 4 others that go into more detail re research of the same nature. It's an eye-opener.
