Melissa in Australia
I always make up heaps of gravy and put any leftover roast in it about a minute before serving to heat up. serve with veggies.
Dobela
If you don't already have BBQ sauce on it, that is always good. I have also used shredded pork in homemade soups (basically veggie soup with pork added). Use the pork in wontons for wonton soup.
FaithManor
I like to add it to stir fry once the veggies are nearly done...that way it warms through but doesn't dry out. I add it to scrambled eggs - lots of protein I know, but I have three boys who are trying to eat me into the poor house and protein helps. It's very good in scalloped potatoes, just as good as ham and I think it is more flavorful. I add it to baked beans, and sometimes to green bean casserole which I make of frozen green beans cooked in the slow cooker with onion, minced garlic, tiny homemade dumblings, and the pulled pork...drizzle the pork juice over the beans and then add salt and pepper to taste.
