shanvan
I discovered, in my pile of books, a 4th edition copy of Lial's Intermediate Algebra. Is this edition too old to use? Should I get rid of it and buy a more recent edition. DS won't be ready for this for a couple of years. Just wondering if the newer editions would be better. Any one have any idea? Jann in TX
They have made some nice format changes--especially in the paperback series. Also, the newest versions of the video lessons have improved quite a bit. The concepts will not have changed... the essence of the lessons will also be the same... but a newer edition will bring you more options and will have a nicer lesson format. shanvan
Also taking the opportunity to thank you for all you've written on this site. Lial's BCM has made a huge difference in DS's life this year. He no longer hates math and his confidence is improving with every lesson. SO...:grouphug: to you, Jann!
