Shelly in IL
Dates 9/11 - 9/26 (I know, longer than a week). We are going Sept. 23 and 24. Anyone been there and can give me the "must sees?" Thanks.

crowscreek
It sounds like SO much fun! I know my kiddos would have a great time, but I would have an even better one. :) :)
Crafty Mathy Mom
We went last year and spent two days. Touring the buildings can get boring for littles. Try to hit those before the crowds. The highlights were our audience with Martha Washington and the art classes at the folk art museum. We ended up doing 3 art classes. Check out all of the trades. The palace kitchen was especially good. We actually dressed up. It was fun for the family, but I didn't dress up on the second day because I was tired of being asked for pictures. mommylawyer
We are!!! We're doing the Historic Triangle, then heading off to Roanoke Island. Even our 3 year old is excited! (We're studying the time period right now and I am constantly telling our 3 year old that she'll get to see the things we're discussing.) Margo out of lurking
We loved Jamestown last year during hs week. It was much better than Williamsburg, in our opinion. And then we went to VA beach, which was the BEST! I think we've failed history tours.
