kailuamom
from the Colonial and Civil War eras, who would you choose? I am curious what others would choose as their "must do" figures of American history from 1600 to the late 1800s. Thanks in advance for your thoughts! Off the top of my head these people come to mind: George Washington Abe Lincoln Benjamin Franklin (Love him!) John Adams Thomas Jefferson Abigail Adams Harriet Tubman Jefferson Davis
Kirch
That's a hard one. Off the top of my head these people come to mind: George Washington Abe Lincoln Benjamin Franklin (Love him!) John Adams Thomas Jefferson Abigail Adams Harriet Tubman Jefferson Davis I'd probably add one or two earlier figures like John Winthrop and/or Miles Standish, William Penn, and John Smith. Pocahontas would be a good one to consider too.
