sonnie777
Is there Christian beliefs or scripture in this curriculum, especially Kindergarten? How are the lessons set up?

MissKNG
Check out post #3 on this thread: http://www.welltrainedmind.com/forums/showthread.php?t=168054&highlight=sonlight+science I wrote about goes on in a week of SL Science K. We are using SL Science K and love it! You can also check my blog for pictures and such about what we are doing. We use it Biblically and all the scripture references are in the Instructor's Guide. The books they use are secular so it's easy to use secularly. I plan on using Science 1 too. I really enjoy this curriculum and so does my big girl!! MissKNG
Wow, so they have an experiment a week? Yes, if you want. Sometimes we don't have the time or the "at home" supplies to do the experiment so we'll watch the DVD and talk about it.
Amber in AUS
Wow, so they have an experiment a week? Yes, plus they normally have suggestions for other activities you can do if you feel inclined. We don't ALWAYS do the experiment. Sometimes we just watch the DVD which shows you the experiment. We are still enjoying it :)
