Mommyfaithe
What's the skinny?? Last week I posted a poll on what to do w/ ds for 11th/12th grade and he decided on the WTM approach using Spielvogels condensed into 2 years. So, have you read SWB's books and do you love them? Are they up there with SOTW? Wish there was a student guide to go along like the AG...sigh. Faithe
Mad Jenny Flint
We used HAW this year for Ancients and I believe they are SO much better than SOTW. Richer, more detailed, chewy and delicious. It doesn't matter that there is no study guide. Use WTM to help you decide how to use the material.
homeschoolmom99
Sorry--but I don't understand the abbreviation. What is HAW? Do you have a link to their website? Thanks!

Starr
We like both History of the Ancient and Medieval Worlds by Susan Wise Bauer. Dd is really disappointed that the next book is not out yet.
johnandtinagilbert
Really hoping TOG will integrate them. I'm in the middle of Ancients right now and I am really enjoying it. Seems like we could outline and write papers pretty easily from them. I just might email TOG on this to find out if they're planning on adding them to the alternative or core list! It would be wonderful!
