littlemommy
Has anyone taken the French 1 class at the Potter's School using BJU French 1 text? I understand the teacher is very good. How about the workload? Is the book easy to use and understand? Thanks.
mommyofthree
My daughter took this class this year. She highly recommends the class and believes the sun shines out of Madame Starosciak. This class was an excellent introduction to French. She found the workload completely manageable. There were oral and written tests about every two weeks and workbook pages to be completed before each class. Also, there was a cultural event (similar to a report) due every month. I believe there were two midterm exams and a final. HTH
RENEEinVA
My younger dd took the JH French 1 class this year with Madame S. and loved it. In fact, my older dd decided to switch over to the HS French 1 class for this very reason. The Potter's School also has a French Conversations class which reinforces (and allows them to practice) what they are learning in class.
