calledtobehome
A very close friend of mine is getting married next month and I'm in the wedding but her shower is next Sat. I was thinking of a gift for both the bride and grome to enjoy. I would like to buy a picnic basket and filling it with some items they can use for a romantic picnic. Here is what I have so far: Bottle of cider Candles The power of a prayer wife book for her I need more ideas my brain is foggy today!! nlengyel
I know this doesn't go with the picnic theme, but my favorite wedding or shower gift was a set of special Christmas ornaments.

Maybe you don't need to fill it to overflowing though. Will the picnic basket come complete for a picnic...some do, some don't. Buy some nice, but inexpenisve plates, cups, etc at Target or someplace. Add a nice blanket that can be used again and again. Perhaps a music CD. calledtobehome
Thanks for the ideas. Yes the picnic basket comes with the silverware, plates, and cups for 2 people. I like the idea of the blanket, music cd, and good chocolate! Here is the one I was looking at: http://www.familychristian.com/shop/product_image.asp?ProdID=127027
