You can update Plus for free after that (when the update the program). I love HST+! HST+ has more features than the Basic. I didn't use Basic for a very long time before upgrading so I'm a little hazy on this, but the biggest thing that stands out in my mind is the ability to make lesson plans that can then be saved by subject and then reused to schedule subsequent children. JudoMom Posted June 7, 2010 Share Posted June 7, 2010 I upgraded from basic to Plus several years ago, and I do not regret it. I don't remember all the differences, but the upgrade was worth it. Plus works the same way as basic, only better :). And I love the fact I get free updates for life, so I always have the latest version. It couldn't do what I needed it to so it was useless to me. The Plus version does exactly what I needed from the Basic! In fact, after deleting the basic program a year before, when I downloaded the Plus version, everything I put into it, all that time I thought I wasted, was transfered over to the new one!:hurray: It was hiding out somewhere on my hard drive separately from the program.
