AHASRADA Posted May 9, 2010 Share Posted May 9, 2010 I hadn't really considered the Algebra Survival Guide and workbook, since I wasn't sure if it was actually a serious text, or just another mass-produced "review" book. I recently noticed, however, that it is carried by Rainbow Resource, and that the description and review say, "This book kindly takes you by the hand and incrementally, step-by-step and question by question, teaches you the whys and hows of algebra." This is exactly what my ds needs! So, what do you think? Is this a viable Algebra I text, or is there something else that would serve the purpose better? Thanks!
