Wendi Posted May 3, 2010 Share Posted May 3, 2010 Has anyone used these? Are they helpful for developing mathematical thinking ability, mental math, etc.? I'm getting desperate and frustrated with ds. His math anxiety really gets in the way, and I'm trying to find other ways to work on things that are more hands-on. I used to have trouble remembering to pull them out and use them, so I turned many of the games into 'file folder games,' with everything they needed to play and the instructions in a folder. They are great for "teaching" math and the kids usually don't even know they are "learning". Like the pp, I forget to take them off the shelves..
