happykate
Hi, all! I feel a little foolish since I haven't posted here in a really loooong time, but when I couldn't find an answer on my own, I knew where I should turn! Anyway...I'm in charge of the craft for our mother/daughter night at our church in a couple of weeks and I am stumped! The girls will be K-5th grade and we don't want anything too terribly time consuming or expensive. Any ideas will be greatly appreciated! Thank you, thank you! KatieJ
I help out with a Make N Take event every year, but am not involved int eh planning anymore.........so I don't know all the details. However, one of the cutest things they did was use 4 inch plain tiles you can get anywhere........and tied them up with a ribbon to make coaster sets. I heard the original ones had some kind of decal rubbed on them. Here is a link I found that is similiar..tutorial included. http://j-a-girl.blogspot.com/2009/02/tile-coasters.html and another http://www.etsy.com/listing/36348653/handmade-tile-coasters-set-of-4-bloomin and another http://www.examiner.com/x-9098-Scrapbooking-and-Stamping-Examiner~y2009m7d21-Stamping-101-How-do-I-make-tile-coasters
