Your reusable swim diaper recommendations /raves, please!

so I've still got one unreliable little one. She's just about potty trained (again) and we're planning on a ton of swimming this summer.

 

I've seen the kushies swim diaper and for the $10 price I can see $$$$ in savings not to mention the savings on frustration when I realize, too late, that we're out.

 

BUT before I buy I thought I'd ask the other hive mama's if they know a better product.

If it's a public pool, you might check their regulations. I've seen some pools that require the disposable swim diapers. But, our swim school requires the re-usable ones....so not sure why there is any regulation at all.

 

Anyway, I can't remember the brand of the re-usable one we bought so not much help.

I reused the disposable ones and tossed them if they got dirty or stretched out too much. I just hung them on the line to dry out.

The pools around here require a disposable diaper AND another plastic reusable kind. Have to have both or they can't swim.

I like Bummies. They are about $13 new and they work. By "work" I mean that they keep the poop in. Choose a snug fit. You can also use a regular cover that fits nice and snug. HTH

With my son I used to just use a Fuzzi Bunz without the insert. I figured it was just there to catch poop so it worked like a charm!
