This is what she memorized for 1st: Addition and Subtraction facts up to 18 (9+9) The first 12 presidents Pledge of Allegiance Lord's Prayer Girl Scout Promise Girls Scout Law Various Bible Verses from her R&S reading and from Sun. School Various Poems from What Your first grader Needs to Know and other poetry books some phonics rules (when 2 vowels go walking...) 2nd grade: working on Multiplication tables and Division tables The early kings of England through Elizabeth I. We use the list in the back of the Kingfisher History Encyclopedia. Order of Planets Colors of Rainbow in order Poetry from what your 2nd grader needs to know Bible Verses. We use the ones they are learning in Sun. School plan for 3rd and 4th so far: All presidents continue w/math tables States and Capitals preamble to the constitution list of major wars (in KHE) Don't know what for science or grammar yet.
