OrganicAnn
Have you ever heard of Coyote Teaching? I stumbled on it and find it interesting. It sounds like it is a cross between the Socratic method and a Native American training. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coyote_teaching http://www.amazon.com/Art-Mentoring-Coyote-Teaching/dp/1579940048/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1269138753&sr=8-1 Edited March 21, 2010 by OrganicAnn
Mergath
Sounds interesting. I wish the wiki had more specific information.
Peela
Looks fascinating- its something I would certainly have been interested in pursuing if it had been more developed earlier (as in, support for mums not already brought up with the method). . I think future generations of homeschoolers are really going to have some wonderful resources.

[/url] I immediately thought of coyote ugly and had a vision of a flustered mom chewing off her mom to get away from her kids after a bad math lesson.
