Pam in MA
Could someone clarify for me the exact title (or even an ISBN) of the Geometry text that is highly regarded for high school? I'm having trouble pinpointing the right book. I'm also interested in any ISBNs for the supplemental solutions and teachers editions. We're finishing Foerster's Algebra this year and wanted to move into Geometry. Any other recommended Geometry texts for a rigorous high school program? Thanks much! Kareni
Here's a link to the student text Geometry: Seeing, Doing, Understanding which is the third edition. ISBN-13: 978-0716743613 My daughter preferred the second edition. ISBN-13: 978-0716717454 Regards, Kareni
Myra
I also recommend the Enhanced Teacher's Guide of Geometry: Seeing, Doing, Understanding (3rd edition) to match the 3rd edition student text. ISBN 0-7167-5607-2 www.whfreeman.com/jacobs Remember, that Jacob's Geometry is a very "hands-on" text that I found worked best if my son and I did the lessons and exercises together as the exercises are the real "teaching" part of the lessons. Pam in MA
Thanks! What was confusing me is the third edition has a different title (Seeing, Doing, Understanding) but a lot of people seem to prefer the 2nd edition. Were you able to find solution set/test set to go with that edition?
