Daisy
Does anyone suggest a resource for giving logic-stage children an overview of world religions? I was looking at this one but wondered if anyone had any personal experience with it? Heidi @ Mt Hope
We have The Usborne Encyclopedia of World Religions. I haven't used it extensively, but I've really liked what I've read and viewed.
Brindee
Thankyou for asking this question! My dd is interested in studying World Religions next year, and I can take off from the link you gave! I was hoping to find a curriculum of some sort, but haven't yet. We can just do our own thing and have her write up reports. I was coming here to start a thread like this---funny that you did at the same time! :D We didn't have specific books, but growing up we looked at other world religions. If we had a neighbor or saw something on tv about religions, we'd often look them up and learn more about them.
patchfire
I have my eye on A World of Faith. One of the reviews is from Chinaberry, too, and I find Chinaberry to be a good source of reviews & recommendations. [And no aliens. ;)]

At first it looked good but there was something odd about it after looking through it. Ask her & see if she remembers.
Daisy
Okay, I'll ask her. Man, I wish my B&N carried REAL books instead of Scholastic fluff.

Laura Corin
I like that book a lot but used it for the elementary years - it's a good introduction but you might need something a bit more in-depth for logic stage. Laura
