hsmomto5
I am looking for ideas for a literature program for my 11 yo dd. We are using SL 6 for history and reading but honestly she doesn't enjoy all the books about history. I could just assign other reading but I need more structure mostly for me. Any ideas? Thanks! Ellie
Well, you could look for books on the 1000 Good Books List, and periodically (i.e., randomly, unexpectedly) have her do book reports from the Love to Learn Place.
Mom22ns
What about using LL7 and dropping enough SL books to make room in the schedule for it? They are not history related and might be a breath of fresh air for her.
blessed2fosteradopt
How about CLE Reading?
daveswife
My kids, ages 11 and 12, are using CLE Reading 6 and 7 along with Sonlight Core 6. It's really a great program to use in conjunction with Sonlight, as it is not at all time-consuming.
