mhaddon
So what is the best? I don't want something overkill or super expensive, however I want it to last. I also don't want a cheap one where the refills cost more than the machine KWIM? I hate when that happens :glare: So what would you recomend? I'd like it to be big enough to do lapbooks as well and full sheets of paper :)
dirty ethel rackham
I have a GBC HeatSeal H312. I really like it. The only downside is that, if I don't have something holding up the output, the end product ends up curved. I keep a book there to keep it level. I bought it at Laminators.com when it was on special a couple months ago. It is not on special there now. I did notice that the price on Amazon was only a little more than the Laminators.com price (but I had to pay for shipping since it was not eligible for Prime and Laminators.com offered free shipping.) How is that for along sentence?:).
mhaddon
How much is the film for it? And yes, I do want something that will do larger pages like that one :)
dirty ethel rackham
I bought a couple boxes that were 5 mil 9x11.5 (for 8.5x11 paper) pouches and 100 per box for about $15 each. I could have bought the 3 mil pouches, for less, but I needed something sturdier.
SonshineLearner
I'm not sure about the laminators themselves... and good prices. BUT for lamination supplies.... oregonlam.com has great prices, good customer service and a flat shipping charge of $5.95.
Susan in KY
I got a cheap one at ALDI for $20 and have been pretty happy with it.
