christielee7278
We will meet one hour a week for 8 weeks. I would like to have a craft, game, and food along with some basic info for grades K-2. Any ideas? Galloping the Globe maybe? Thank you!!

anewday
We use Evan Moore for our co-op's geography. http://www.evan-moor.com/Series.aspx?CurriculumID=7&ClassID=158&SeriesID=128 I don't really care for the "center" approach, but it's completely tweakable. mom31257
I just taught a co-op geography class for that group. Each week I touched on basic map skills. We taught about a continent each week and ended with Christmas around the world. I did use material out of Galloping the Globe, but I also found things online and used some Five in a Row stuff. I will try to post some of the links, but don't have time tonight. It was a lot of fun.
