Laura in China, which Logic books did

Recommended Posts

you use with your oldest son? I remember you mentioning them on the old board, and that is what I'm thinking of. I believe your son is older than my dd, but maybe the manufacturer of the text you used would have one for slightly younger students.

Thanks for the help!

We used the Dandy Lion books. We enjoyed Logic Countdown and Logic Liftoff..... until the last few pages of the latter. Suddenly we were thrown into logical notation, and found that the explanations were inadequate. I have no training in it at all, and we were at sea.

We are taking a break and doing RE at present. I do recommend the first book and most of the second - I just don't know if we are ready for the third. I'll have to take a look at it and see if I can use it.

Best wishes

Thanks Laura, Lori suggested these too. So we'll probably use these. But I must say these look hard.

I'm not much of a visual puzzle person. I'm much better at written word problems, so that's what I was gravitating toward. But these look wonderful. I have a lot to learn.
