this is so dumb, but please help me. I am cleaning out dd's closet (age 7) and I have a huge stack of blankets that people knit her when she was born. I will keep the one from dh's grandmother, but can I pitch the rest? They have been taking up too much of her closet for too long. I feel so bad after people went to that effort. We have never used them at all and she doesn't use them for her baby dolls either. TIA

I would just donate them. No one is ever going to know. People don't expect to see them when you dc is 7 years old.

If she isn't particularly attached, I would see about donating to a NICU at a local hospital.
