Don't shoot me. Another (quick) MCT question....

On their website it says:

"Teacher manuals for the curriculum always contain the student book, plus extra pages for instruction, answers to questions where applicable and suggestions throughout the text for teachers to implement."

Does this mean that the student pages are a cohesive unit within the teacher manual (such as with WWE or SOTW Activity Pages) or are miniature versions of the student pages spliced in with instruction (such as with CLE math)?

Thanks! :)

So my understanding is that you don't need to buy the student books if you want to save $$. Is that true?

For the elementary series, that is 100% true - except for the consumable Practice books.

There is a Basic Homeschooler's package that contains just the TMs plus a student Practice book.

Yes. The TM is *exactly* the student book (size, font, etc.) with the exception of small notes in the margin. My kids don't even notice the notes (which are printed in blue ink) but even if they did it would be fine... they are merely questions to prompt dialog and/or things to point out.

In the back is a Teacher's section with notes, tests, examples and exercises.

For the early levels we are sitting on the couch reading together, so one TM between us is adequate.
