To peel or not to peel? That is the question.......

Thanks! I ended up peeling both the turnips and parsnips, but think I could skip the peeling on the parsnips next time.

 

The soup smells so good! In addition to the taro, carrots, turnips and parsnips, it also has a bunch each of kale and parsley, a head of garlic, celery, and thyme, sage, oregano salt, pepper, and bay leaves. Oh- and the ham bone and two kinds of white beans.

 

This way, the Dude doesn't have to cook too much while I work the rest of the week and weekend!
