BearWallowSchool
When is it okay to give a baby Cheerios? Is 9 months too early?
Sophia
That sounds about right. The baby I watch during the day started then.
StartingOver
I give Cheerios and other easy to eat finger foods, when baby has got the pincher grip down ( thumb and first finger pinch ).
Sherry in OH
Put a few on his/her tray or the table and see what the baby does. If he or she can get them to his/her mouth, the baby is ready for them.

I stick with the brand name and not the no-name though until closer to 18 months, because the brand name melts down easier making choking less likely.
