5LittleMonkeys
I want to start off by saying that this never could have happened if my dc were still in ps. Homeschooling has allowed my dd to pursue her real passion and I'm so thankful that I can give her this opportunity. My sweet dd1st who will turn 7 in Jan. just received an invitation to become a level 4 member of a nationally competing gymnastics team. She had only been doing gymnastics for about 2 months when she was promoted to the level 2 recreational team and now 3 months later she has received this invitation. I'm so proud of her I could burst! The only problem is I know nothing about gymnastics. Anyone else here have a dc on this type of team? Anyway, do a happy dance with me to celebrate all of our dc's extraordinary skills no matter how big or small they are!
Tam101
How wonderful! Brag away! I know nothing about gymnastics. I've heard it can be expensive, but I really have nothing to base that on. My dd was/is into volleyball and that was expensive as well, but it paid in the form a college scholarship! Woot!
rookie
congrats! I can't help with the gymnastics but I can be happy for you!!
Jean in Newcastle
My dd7 is just below that level. What a wonderful accomplishment!
MamaT
My 10yodd is a competitive gymnast on a team that won 2nd in Worlds last year. We drive an hour each way 5 days a week for gym. It is exciting. Be prepared for gymnastics to take over your life!
