blessedmom3
I really like the look of a Child's Geography . Is there a history similar to it that inlcudes a CD-ROM with copywork , notebooking to print out ,timelines, tests, world maps... Or a history curriculum that has a Cd-Rom to print out pages for notebooking ? Edited November 1, 2009 by blessedmom3
JFSinIL
You might consider Calvert's A Child's History of the World - you can also order a minor workbook with outlining and a few other simple tasks in it. Then look at Trail Guide to World Geography (which can come as a book or cd rom you print off of) for maps, simple questions/projects, etc. Or use a Trail Guide cd rom with the Bauer SOTW books. Chris in VA
Maybe not what you are looking for, but how about SOTW with the tests and AG, using a blank sheet from Donna Young as your basic notebooking page? AG has maps, questions, projects and stuff like that, and you can use Hannah's Homeschool Helps and just print off a picture for each chapter to put at the top of the notebook page. blessedmom3
Thanks Chris , I will consider SOTW ( I have it but not the AG) if nothing else it's available. I would like all in one package , like A child's geography... but I guess I have to write it myself :001_smile:
Chris in VA
There are some examples of notebook pages we did in second grade on my blog, if you are interested. The large coloring pages and maps are from SOTW 2 AG, and the notebook pages have pics from yahoo group Hannah hs helps (and a few I just "yahoo-imaged"). Click on posts from 2 years ago, and then scroll about halfway down. HTH
