Prairie~Phlox
Ok, ds ran a fever for just over a week, went to the dr. tested negative for flu and found out nothing really. The fever ended the end of last week, I have no idea if this would even be related, but ds has been getting welts on his back and legs. Nothing has changed unless it's maybe for a switch in detergent, but I'm not sure and how would I know? Or what else would maybe cause them? and what should I do? He says they do not hurt, but they are pretty big. Thanks, Phlox
jplain
Post-viral hives are not at all uncommon. Hopefully they'll clear up within a week or so!
sbgrace
Yep, I'd say post-viral hives. Does he itch? Hives can itch horribly. If he's uncomfortable zyrtec (available over the counter) is terrific for handling hives no matter the underlying cause.
ChristusG
Wow, I've never heard of post-viral hives. I learn something new every day here!
Mommyof4ks
Wow, I've never heard of post-viral hives. I learn something new every day here! Ditto! I knew about post viral rashes, but not hives.
