dovrar
I am looking for some mysteries for my 6th grader to read. She loves Nancy Drew, but I am looking for something more educational. So far I've run across the Roman Mysteries Series and the Lady Grace Mysteries. Any other historical fiction mysteries (we're about to the time of Julius Caesar) or maybe something that would help to increase vocabulary, but staying away from murders would be great. Thanks for the help.
2cents
Check out the Carole Marsh mysteries. My daughter loved them! http://www.gallopade.com/client/client_pages/CarolemarshMysteries.cfm
happydays
The Enola Holmes Mysteries by Nancy Springer are great. They are a good lead in to reading the Sherlock Holmes mysteries. HTH!
meet me in paris
I haven't read these, but I've heard great reports about The Mysterious Benedict Society (3rd book is coming out this month) and the Blue Balliett book Chasing Vermeer, followed by The Wright 3 and The Calder Game.
