Michelle in AL
We need to change our holder. JD Powers rates them 4 star.
Journey
I have them and have been very satisfied with the way they handle my claims. Well, only one claim but they were very thorough. I work for Allstate now that and am learning more about insurance. One of the things that I don't like about Amica is that you call an 800 number and speak with different people all of the time. My Allstate office has an agent and our customers love that they can call US and we know them. Amica is a bit more expensive than Allstate (i'm not trying to sell Allstate). I think they are a great company (Amica).
mom2hunangirls
I had Amica when I was single. I only had 2 claims with them. Once my brother hit my car in the driveway and the other time I deer hit me from the side. Anyway... I loved them. It's been 8 yrs since I was with them. But when it was time to consolidate policies when I got married. I actually cried on the phone when I canceled my policy. Seriously. It was like a break-up for me. I would have stayed with them even though they cost a little more, but at the time they didn't offer homeowners insur in my state.
whitestavern
We used to have them, and while they had very good customer service, they were priced higher than most plans. You get a rebate at the end of the year that kind of makes up for it but we preferred to pay less each month than get money back at the end of the year. EarleneW
We own an auto apprasial franchise and contract with them to write appraisals. They are pretty class act as far as handling their policy holders claims.
Michelle in AL
Thanks everyone, I've never heard of them. I have Allstate now, and Amica is $200/yr less with more coverage.
