April in CA
Hello Everyone! We are going to Arkansas next week to visit family, and I was wondering if anyone has suggestions about colleges/universities that we should visit while there. We are already planning to visit UA in Fayettville. Ds wants to study engineering, probably mechanical. Younger ds is not sure yet. Thanks for any advice you can give! Blessings, April
K-FL
Are you looking for anything specific--rural, urban, large, small, Christian or not? On the Christian side, Harding U had engineering & is on the top 10 Conservative Colleges list. Whether that's a plus or minus if for you to decide. :o)
Susie-Knits
What about Hendrix? It sounds interesting.
Kareni
I've no personal knowledge of it; however, Hendrix College is well regarded. It's one of the Colleges That Change Lives colleges featured in the book by Loren Pope. Regards, Kareni
Miss Marple
John Brown University is known for its engineering program. I'm not very familiar with specifics, but many of the homeschoolers in our area (Tulsa) who wish to pursue engineering are looking at JBU. It is in Siloam Springs which is just a couple of hours from Tulsa (maybe not that far). It is a "Christian" college, but not affiliated with a specific denomination (or so I have heard).
