4kids4me
I've been reading about WWII...learning lots. I wondered how it was for the Jewish folks to re-assimilate in Germany after the war (am I explaining myself correctly???). Are there any good books about this? ladydusk
I don't know if this is what you're looking for, but you might be interested in Dawn by Elie Wiesel or The Reawakening by Primo Levi. I would definitely rec that you read their first books though (Night; Survival at Auschwitz) I don't think either of them were in Germany, though. Snickerdoodle
I just read this book A Lucky Child.. It's a very quick read, but it's an amazing memoir all of the things that happened to this man during and after the war.
Sebastian (a lady)
I've been reading about WWII...learning lots. Armageddon is about Berlin in the period just after the war. It deals a lot with displaced persons and de-Nazification. I'm not sure how much time it spends on German Jews in particular.
