Quiver0f10
I am looking for an atlas recommendation to go with TOG year 2. Ideally I'd like something they could all use but something geared towards dialectic is fine. Thanks!

tullyfamily
Have you tried MapAids from TOG? We LOVE it- maps for each level + teacher maps. I also use Cultural Atlas for Young People series, which has some atlas in it. I use this one for Year 2: http://www.amazon.com/Middle-Cultural-Atlas-Young-People/dp/0816068259/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1246906787&sr=1-1 HTH! Heather I use map aids, but the kids need an atlas to fill in the maps? For year 1 we used the Holman Bible Atlas.
happygrrl
I am no help :D. Last year we were busy with some remedial things, so I copied the *teacher's* maps from Map Aids to include in their notebooks. It worked great! When we read something we flipped to the map to find out where it happened. I am tempted to do this again this year, as the maps generally caused more frustration for us than not. (My Aspie + neat, small handwriting = lots of tears)
