chpiper
I have a student going into 9th grade, and I am suddenly stressing about credits...I have read that CQLA is a full LA course, but I don't see Literature in the samples...Does anyone know? If I need to do lit separate, does anyone have any recommendations on a program that would go well with it?
LUV2EDU
Quote: "While it does not teach reading and phonics, extensive literature study, or penmanship, CQLA does cover the rest of language arts: grammar, composition (including creative writing, poetry, and research-based reports), spelling, vocabulary, and reading comprehension. High schoolers will likely need to add a speech course and learn to write research papers.[Note: TFT carries products for these areas.]" http://www.tfths.com/revcd.php
